Benefits of Meditation:
Meditation is known to help students who practice regularly, reduce negative thought patterns and improve ability to concentrate. Studies have also shown that brain signaling increases in the left side of the prefrontal cortex which is responsible for positive emotions. There is also an increase in self-awareness and acceptance which ultimately leads to overall well-being. Being able to slow thoughts down through breath and guided meditation helps participants become more aware, accepting, and in control over their thoughts and emotions.
