ABOUT THE OWNER
Lindsay Bauer, LMFT, RYT
Welcome to my website! I'm Lindsay, Owner, Psychotherapist and Yoga/Meditation Instructor at Yogology, a mind-body wellness center in the heart of Philadelphia.
Join me on this journey of self exploration, growth and healing. Life isn't easy but there are many avenues towards accepting and loving who you are. Let's create awareness in order to live empowered and fulfilling lives.
My goal is to provide direction and guidance, light and healing, truth and awareness. Therapy with me is intuitive, safe, comforting, and sometimes challenging. Yes, I will challenge you. I believe in your highest potential even if you struggle to see it.
Upon my return from a yoga teacher training in Bali in 2014, I began turning my dreams of combining yoga and therapy for a holistic approach to healing, into a reality. Yogology was founded in August of 2014 with the hopes of bringing a unique and effective approach to resolving mental health issues.
At Yogology, a range of services are offered to support your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Services aim to integrate mindfulness, psychotherapy, yoga, and meditation to provide personalized care to each client. Yogology offers individual therapy sessions, couples therapy, private yoga and meditation classes, trauma-sensitive yoga sessions, and breathwork workshops to help you achieve balance and harmony in your life.
Yogology's mission is to help you cultivate a deeper connection between your mind and body, and to empower you to live a more fulfilling and joyful life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking to deepen your mindfulness practice, Lindsay is here to support you. Reach out today to schedule an appointment and begin your journey towards greater wellness.

Jennifer Biglen, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with my Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. I am licensed in both Maryland, and Pennsylvania. I specialize in supporting those with chronic/life threatening illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I also specialize in supporting those who have experienced grief/loss, relationship changes, life transitions, and those who are exploring their own self-identity.
I have experience working with teenagers, emerging adults, and adults of all ages. I use a strengths-based approach with components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness, as well as expressive modalities to help clients access their authentic selves and reflect on their emotions and needs. I also have experience working with families using a structural family therapy approach to encourage effective communication, respectful boundaries and long-lasting connection. I’m a therapist who believes in a client-centered process, and works collaboratively with all clients and families towards their goals.
I understand that all life milestones have a sense of grief to them, and I learned through my own personal experiences how support is essential in the difficult and transitional moments in life. I wanted to become that therapeutic support to help others identify their own worth and resilience, and to create a place for them to feel seen and known.
I create a non-judgmental, calm and empathetic space to explore and share. It is important for my clients to feel safe and accepted. I encourage and support growth, and believe in the potential for change. I have been described as a compassionate, and understanding therapist who genuinely cares for her clients and has confidence in their abilities. I understand how challenges can impact each person differently, therefore my approach is tailored for what is best for each client. A session with me would include validation, reflection, mindfulness and even some laughter at times.
Holistic wellness and music are my key strategies for self-care. Massage and acupuncture help me to release stress and maintain my ability to be present within all areas of my life. Singing and listening to music brings me joy while also creating a space for my own reflections and expression of emotions.
